QUBIK GIVES BACK

Qubik played host to a customer/client acknowledgement day at Stewart Alexander Golf Club.

“The whole idea of the corporate day was to try and alleviate stress or give farmers a sense that we are supporting them as they go through this difficult time”  Jason Hare – Director/Branch Manager Te Awamutu.

Due to the recent dairy price plummet the Dairying industry has had to wade in the water to stay a float – it’s forecast is hazy at best in the near future however almost always the industry tends to land on its feet until that happens our dairying industry need to know we care.

While some of our clients/customers maybe treading water we want them to know that the Qubik team do recognise this and acknowledge the difficult time and show our care and trust by treating them to a ‘fun’ day out.  Stewart Alexander golf club was the venue which allowed us to do this – An Ambrose format was used to allow four golfers or (non golfers) to have alternate hits and select the best shot – there were many holes sponsored to support this concept,  One to mention was the  Team from ROSETOWN HOLDEN who had a ‘hole in one’ challenge on the Par 3#  16th hole,  the prize a brand new Holden Colarado ute!! thanks John and the team.

Emma Voorend,  from the Qubik project committee mentioned that the team she was involved with were all on the same page in  allowing the day to be about enjoyment and giving back to our clients.  “We had many suppliers assist us in running the day – so a BIG thank-you to them” Emma says, ” We had a lot of fun out on the course and in the club rooms for our prize giving as well”.

The committee that made the day possible are – Emma Voorend, Nick Heffer, Hayden Parkes, Jeremy Collett & Ken Osborne (CEO)

“I would highly recommend any organisation to utilise this concept it is really rewarding and all suppliers/customers and staff enjoyed the day at Stewart Alexander golf Club” Jason Hare – Branch Manager Te Awamutu.
